 Learning Launch Campus Lift-Offs

Your school is eligible for a Staff Celebration Paleta Cart to energize your campus as your Campus Lift-Off. This small boost can have a meaningful impact on school culture and climate by fostering a sense of excitement and community at the beginning of the school year.

For teachers and staff, Campus Lift Offs are a celebratory opportunity to demonstrate gratitude and create momentum for the year ahead.

Please share three potential dates for your Campus Lift-Off between August 3 and September 5.

Once you submit your date preferences, the Learning Launch Team will follow up to confirm your event date and time based on vendor availability. If you have any questions or need assistance, the Learning Launch Team is here to help every step of the way at learninglaunch@unitedtolearn.org.

Learning Launch Campus Resources

Learning Launch is United to Learn's annual back-to-school initiative designed to help schools start the year strong by providing funding for resources that support academic achievement, school culture, and teacher preparedness.

Through Learning Launch, schools leaders can request resources aligned to their campus priorities, including:

  1. Instructional materials and classroom resources
  2. Classroom readiness supplies
  3. Literacy, math, science, and STEAM resources
  4. Student engagement and attendance initiatives
  5. Professional resources for teachers
  6. School culture materials and more!

To support campuses through the process, we will provide a one-stop resource, the Learning Launch Guidebook (linked), that includes:

  • Overview of the Learning Launch program
  • Eligibility and funding guidelines
  • Program timeline and key deadlines
  • Step-by-step application instructions
  • Guidance for developing a strong Learning Launch Application
  • Access to the Learning Launch Application
  • Approved vendors and shopping cart instructions
  • Learning Launch Application Rubric
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Frequently asked questions and additional support resources
The Learning Launch team aims to review applications within 3-5 business days of receipt with a goal of getting materials delivered to campuses as soon as possible. Please reach out to the Learning Launch Team at learninglaunch@unitedtolearn.org with any questions.

Liaison Recommendation

The U2L Liaison program pairs dedicated volunteers from the community with a U2L network school to assist the school in accessing United to Learn resources. Additionally, these individuals collaborate with school administration to implement programming designed to positively impact campus culture and climate, ensuring that teachers and staff feel valued and appreciated throughout the school year.

We welcome your recommendations in identifying individuals who would be excited to serve in this capacity. Do you know any individuals who would be excited to serve on a campus as a U2L Liaison? (Perhaps a dedicated parent volunteer, a member of your school’s PTA/PTO, a former teacher, community member, etc.) Submitting a recommendation is optional, however, we encourage you to submit recommendations ONLY if you DO NOT have a U2L Liaison currently assigned to your campus. If you are not sure, you are welcome to submit a recommendation and reach out to programs@unitedtolearn.org.

Book Bash

A Book Bash is a memorable event for the entire campus that builds students’ home libraries and promotes a culture of reading. During a United to Learn Book Bash, every student gets to choose and take a book home. Through engaging themes and immersive environments, students are reminded that reading can take them anywhere. Whether students are exploring a Hollywood premiere, a wild safari, a winter wonderland, or an exciting adventure, Book Bash helps students see that reading is a journey waiting to happen.
Our goal is to ensure students have equitable access to high-interest, age-appropriate books that reflect the students and communities we serve.
Please select two Fall date and two Spring dates.
